  आदिष्टवान् यथा स्वप्ने रामरक्षामिमां हरः । तथा लिखितवान् प्रातः प्रबुद्धो बुधकौशिकः

  ādiṣṭavān yathā svapne rāmarakṣāmimāṃ haraḥ | tathā likhitavān prātaḥ prabuddho budhakauśikaḥ

  Just as Hara (Śiva) gave out this Rāma-protection prayer in a dream, so the sage Budha Kauśika, waking at dawn, wrote it down exactly the same way.
