  लोकाभिरामं रणरङ्गधीरं राजीवनेत्रं रघुवंशनाथम् । कारुण्यरूपं करुणाकरं तं श्रीरामचन्द्रं शरण्यं प्रपद्ये ॥

  lokābhirāmaṃ raṇaraṅgadhīraṃ rājīvanetraṃ raghuvaṃśanātham | kāruṇyarūpaṃ karuṇākaraṃ taṃ śrīrāmacandraṃ śaraṇyaṃ prapadye ||

  I take refuge in Śrī Rāmacandra — the delight of the world, steady and brave on the battlefield, lotus-eyed, lord of the Raghu line, the very form of kindness, the doer of mercy, the one worth turning to for shelter.
