मारुतस्य समो वेगे गरुडस्य समो जवे। अयुतं योजनानां तु गमिष्यामीति मे मतिः॥
mārutasya samo vege garuḍasya samo jave | ayutaṁ yojanānāṁ tu gamiṣyāmīti me matiḥ ||
Hanumān ji compares his speed to Garuḍa's: 'I am equal to Māruta (Vāyu) and Garuḍa in speed. I feel I can cover ten thousand yojanas at a stretch.'
