The -as stem वेधस् yields two borne forms: वेधस (final halant dropped) and the nominative वेधा. The English form takes no trailing schwa.

rāmāya rāmabhadrāya rāmacandrāya vedhase | raghunāthāya nāthāya sītāyāḥ pataye namaḥ ||
Salutations to Rāma, to the gracious Rāmabhadra, to Rāmacandra the creator, to the lord of the Raghus, the lord of all, the husband of Sītā.
