Etymology · व्युत्पत्ति
यजुस् = हलन्त-लोप → यजुस
The root word यजुस् carries a final halant (the grammatical stem); as a given name the halant is dropped (यजुस), and the English form takes no trailing schwa, so “Yajus”, not “Yajusa”.

Bhagavad Gītā · 9.17

pitāhamasya jagato mātā dhātā pitāmahaḥ | vedyaṁ pavitramoṅkāra ṛksāma yajureva ca ||
I am the father of this world, and also its mother, its sustainer and its grandfather. I am what is worth knowing, the purifier, the sacred syllable Om, and the three Vedas (Ṛk, Sāma, Yajus).
