Etymology · व्युत्पत्ति

सुकृत् = हलन्त-लोप → सुकृत

The form सुकृत् is written with a final halant (the grammatical/citation spelling); as a borne name the final halant is dropped (सुकृत), and the English form takes no trailing schwa.
